The collective aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and intercultural dialogue amongst marginalized groups. It offers a platform to support artists who present audacious hybrid media works that engage with contemporary events affecting Asian diasporas. We derive our name from the whimsical inspiration of the enigmatic \\\"Covert Eight Immortals\\\" in Chinese mythology. These mythical beings possess the ability to seamlessly transform and traverse ethereal realms, said to hold profound knowledge of the mysteries of nature.
